I have been teaching Chinese since I went to the UK three and a half years ago to take my MA in Translation Studies at Leeds University. Following my graduation, I have also been teaching Chinese in the East Asian Studies Department at Leeds University, as well as to my private individual students.


Whether you want to learn some useful Chinese conversation for business or travelling, or maybe just want to study this beautiful language and learn more about China’s amazing culture, or perhaps have already been studying Chinese for some time and would like to continue to improve or get yourself ready for the HSK exam, I would be really happy to assist you!


I have many enthusiastic and committed students in the UK, several of whom have continued their Chinese studies for more than two years and have successfully taken HSK examinations up to level 5! Some of my students even came to China to subsequently pursue full-time degree courses. My students range from complete beginners to advanced learners. From their feedback and my teaching practice, I have gained extensive experience which has enabled me to develop the most efficient teaching methods to help each student achieve their personal learning goals, in an enjoyable and effective way.


I have recently returned to China and sincerely welcome anyone who is interested in learning Chinese as a foreign language to contact me.
