Work Experience:

2011/03—2012/07 Hantao Chinese Teacher & Course Management

Teacher：
1.When being Chinese teacher at Hantao, I was in charge of private class as well as group class. The level of students being taught was from beginner to advanced, and the best students were able to watch Chinese TV show and use idiom exactly. To improve students’ Chinese level by preparing class content, teaching aids and designed game for exercise is the only key work. Through this way, the Chinese level of students had been improved a lot, especially speaking and listening. Therefor new students recommended by my students accounted for 30% of all new students.

2.Developed character course with other teachers, focused on training the reading ability of students. In condition of that students being interested in learning Chinese character, students were encouraged to practice writing characters. Normally students can master about 400 commonly used characters after learning 60 class hours. (Generally speaking, students can read and understand the meaning of short chapter or text with 500 commonly used characters.);

3.To be familiar with HSK outline，and make studying plans according to different requirements of different level on vocabulary, grammar, etc.for students. Through intensive training, five students, who took apart in HSK, passed HSK3-5 separately.

Course Management：

1.Replayed email about Chinese course from students, received new students’ visit. According to the requirements and Chinese level of students, made a learning plan (including class hours & learning target), twenty-five of twenty-eight students I reregistered in Hantao;

Communicated learning situation with students and teachers at regular intervals and moderately adjusted teaching arrangement according to learning process and student characteristics.

3.Traced handle student complaints and course-related issues to make sure suitable teacher, relaxed learning environment are always ready for students.

2011/10—2011/01 Shanghai College of International Education,USST Teacher

Had been trained to be Chinese teacher for three months before entry, the training contents were the basic Chinese grammars, how to teach the grammars and characters, how to make teaching plans and methods according to different language phenomenon.

2.After being trained, I taught listening, speaking & reading Chinese in private class and group class (the biggest on had 13 students) from beginner to intermediate level, most students were from America and Europe. Through various teaching methods to improve students’ integration capability.

3.Took apart in writing self teaching materials，primarily took responsible for writing beginner Chinese textbook with twelve basic grammar, tree hundred and twenty-five new words covered all survival demand Chinese. And the textbook combined with immersion teaching helped students ' proficiency in Chinese obtain significant improvement.
